We must create good paying jobs for our families and young people. Recent headlines document the recession is not getting better. The $16 trillion national debt and the $1.5 trillion annual deficit, voted for by Congresswoman Allyson Schwartz, are threatening both our economic security and our national security. We need to create conditions in which our private sector and taxpayers, families and seniors can thrive.
Lower taxes, smarter government and energy independence are needed to help improve our economy and create jobs. Pennsylvania is rich in both natural gas and coal. Developing these resources will lead to job growth and a stable housing market here at home.

Cut Spending, Pay Down the Debt and Provide Greater Tax Relief
Since 2008, non-defense discretionary spending has increased by more than 80%. It is quite clear we tax and spend too much! Allyson Schwartz voted for millions in wasted tax dollars, waste and pork forced on the American people, including $90,000 to replace a sidewalk in Oklahoma that leads to nothing but a ditch, and $ 700,000 to study and develop software to tell jokes.

Health Care
Replace the socialized health care spending plan which raised health care costs for most Americans and hurts seniors and families. Obamacare must be repealed and replaced. Congresswoman Allyson Schwartz voted to cut senior health care and Medicare by $ 500 billion. Allyson Schwartz wrongly voted to create a new government panel that rations health care without appeal, places onerous tax burdens on manufacturers and other businesses, and established a new, unprecedented mandate that empowers the federal government to force Americans to buy a product they many not want or need. This is just wrong!
We need to get government waste out of health care, and instead empower people and employers to purchase their own insurance at affordable levels.

Save Social Security
Our older neighbors have paid into Social Security and deserve their Social Security to be 100% guaranteed. They also deserve not to be taxed twice on their Social Security check. Seniors who must also work should not pay more Social Security taxes.
Allyson Schwartz has failed to fix this problem or offer a solution. Social Security is not solvent and the current obligations are already exceeding income.

Fix and Keep Medicare Safe
Each year waste and fraud in Medicare totals $ 60 billion! This is in addition to the fact that Allyson Schwartz voted to cut Medicare by $ 500 billion to finance the huge socialized health care scheme. If Medicare isn’t fixed, and Allyson Schwartz isn’t stopped, Medicare is projected to run out of money in less than ten years, hurting seniors and families.

National Defense
The world is a very dangerous place. There is no such thing as a moderate Islamist. China is a growing military and economic power and Iran presents a real threat in the Middle East. A prosperous nation can afford a modern military. This is why our current fiscal crisis is a threat to our National Security. The current Democrat Administration proposes cuts in our Army and Marine Corps as a way to transfer money for their far left pet projects. There is waste in the Department of Defense and it must be weeded out, but manpower cuts to our fighting forces are unwise.
