Why I am Running for Congress

Dear Friends,

I am running for Congress because incumbent Allyson Schwartz has failed us, the taxpaying families and seniors here at home. As a Veteran, happily married to a Veteran, with two children serving in the military, I love this country and there isn't anything I wouldn't do to help make it better.

My opponent, Allyson Schwartz, has been on the taxpayer payroll for over 27 years! That’s right, over 27 years. Ms. Schwartz has clearly become a part of the problem, padding her own taxpayer funded pension while cutting Medicare for seniors and families and taking taxpayer funded pay raises while we struggle.

It is one thing to be pro-choice, but Allyson Schwartz is so unlike us, she personally profited from running an abortion clinic for a decade, before going on the taxpayer payroll. Financial disclosure documents she filed, prove Allyson Schwartz is a millionaire. Allyson Schwartz no longer represents us, she is totally out of touch.

I know we need change and we need it now! We must create good paying jobs for our families. We must reduce the size of bloated government and we must eliminate wasteful spending! We have to start paying off our $ 16 trillion dollar national debt and we must cut taxes to create jobs and help seniors and families.

Government plays a necessary and important role, but that does not mean government should control our lives. It also means we must work to ensure that government programs are run efficiently.

My family and I live in the same house I grew up in. I am a taxpayer like you, and I will go to Washington and demand change, demand results and start to fix all that is wrong in Washington. I will never take a pay raise and will work to make government live within its means. We must have a balanced budget. We must save Social Security and Medicare for seniors and all generations and repeal and replace Obamacare.
